It is crazy how much we have in common :) I'm praying that your Baby #2 gets moving before 42 weeks comes!Amy Whttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05683913769197406757noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7602786196167768523.post-87838024415194454742015-06-16T11:53:23.189-07:002015-06-16T11:53:23.189-07:00I know we've chatted in the past about how sim...
I know we've chatted in the past about how similar we are, so you will love that I did an unmedicated water birth with my oldest. We did do that at a birthing center near us, but it's one of the few birthing centers in the country that is located in a hospital like that. If you deliver there, you can't use any medicine and they have a nice jetted tub if you want a water birth. I was just more comfortable in the water and pushing was less painful in it too. We plan to do the same thing this time around, though they'll need to break my water if she isn't here by 42 weeks. Being able to freely move around was something I really appreciated about choosing to have this type of delivery. My only problem was that I hadn't fully researched what procedures were necessary and what weren't - i.e. episiotomies, amniotomies, more efficient birthing positions, etc.

I am feeling like myself now at 1.5 weeks postpartum! It's nice to be able to pick our toddler up again and take the boys for walks :)Amy Whttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05683913769197406757noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7602786196167768523.post-81271082351639525572015-06-04T07:16:06.643-07:002015-06-04T07:16:06.643-07:00It sounds like your birth went really well!
